Surrounding me are mountains, fields, rivers, lakes, and woodlands which fill me with wonder and provide endless inspiration for painting. I sketch and photograph the scenes that move me and return to the studio to capture the essence and spirit of the landscape. Pastel and watercolor are my foremost media. I love the intense hues, the blending and flowing of the pigments. Harmonies and splashes of color produce stunning effects creating a space that transports you into my very own personal perspective.
